Terms of use

Lukk Boksen · Last updated: October 2026

These terms apply when you use Lukk Boksen, the app and this website. By using the game you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

Using the game

Lukk Boksen is a Shut the Box dice game for personal, non-commercial use. You can play on your own without an account. Multiplayer needs a Google account, and you must be at least 13 years old.

Your account

Multiplayer uses Google sign-in. You are responsible for what happens under your Google account, and for keeping it secure. You can delete your multiplayer data and account at any time from the Your data screen in the app, or as described on the delete-your-account page.

Playing fairly with others

Please play nicely. Don't cheat by tampering with the app or its database, don't try to read or change games you aren't part of, don't harass other players, and don't overload or disrupt the service.

When you invite someone, their email address is shown to the other players in the game. Only invite people who would welcome it.

Your information

How your information is used and stored is explained in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.

The game can change

Lukk Boksen is run by one person as a hobby project. Features may change, and the game or multiplayer may be paused or stopped. Games and scores can be lost, so please don't rely on them for anything important.

Ownership

The app, its name, artwork and code belong to BJ Bjostad. You may use the game for your own enjoyment, but please don't copy it, sell it or pass it off as your own.

No warranty

The game is provided as it is, without promises that it will always be available, error-free or suitable for any particular purpose.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, BJ Bjostad is not liable for lost games, scores or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the game. Nothing in these terms limits a right or liability that can't be limited by law.

Ending your use

You can stop using the game whenever you like. Access may be suspended or removed for someone who breaks these terms or harms the game or other players.

Changes and contact

If these terms change, the updated version will appear here with a new date, and carrying on using the game means you accept them. Questions: bj@bjostad.dev.
